- Neutral, not neutralised. We report what an industry does, including when that is uncomfortable for the people who host us.

- Subscriptions and report sales. No sponsored articles, no paid placements, no exhibitor-funded coverage.
- Attribution
- Institutional pieces carry the Whenjin Desk byline. Signed commentary carries the author's name and affiliation, and is labelled Opinion.

- Counted or omitted. Nothing is estimated, and organiser-supplied numbers are checked on site before use.
